Obituary for Rodney Craig Carpenter
Carpenter, Rodney Craig
(January 31, 1952 – February 12, 2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney Carpenter. Beloved husband for over 31 years to Donna (nee Brydges). Predeceased by his parents Craig and Norah. Brother to Stephen (Donna) and Geoff (Leslie). Proud uncle to 9 nieces and nephews and great-uncle to 12 nieces and nephews.
Rod went to Carleton University. His long work history was working with the Treasury Board of Canada. Rod was a founding member of Reach Canada. Both Rod and Donna worked to establish the Carpenter Housing Co-Op.
A special thanks to PCIL for their help over the years and to the Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate care.
At Rod’s request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the year. A donation in memory of Rod may be made to Reach Canada or a charity of your choice.
