Passed away peacefully on June 2, 2022 at the Almonte General Hospital with family by his side.

Born in Verdun, Quebec,
and long-time resident and community builder of Pakenham and Almonte, Ontario.
In his 94th year.
Beloved husband for almost 67 years to Thora (nee Sheppard). Loving father to his children Paige, Bronwen Stacey, Wesley (Carol) and the late Corrie Halstead (the late Jason). Proud “Grandpa” to Adam Pugh (Kayla), Eric Pugh (Danielle), Jack Rochon, Claire Rochon, Gwyneth Rochon and great-grandfather to Hannah Pugh. Remembered by all of his family and many friends. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation or the charity of your choice. A special thank-you to the medical staff and caregivers from the Almonte General Hospital and Rosamond Unit for their compassionate care.
Bob’s beloved Thora passed away on June 15, 2022.
Thus, we have a change of venue.
A Visitation will be held for them both in the Almonte Civitan Hall
Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm with a Blessing with Recognitions to occur at 3pm.
