With heavy hearts, the Hemsley family announces the peaceful passing of Mark Hemsley in his home, surrounded by family. Mark was a love him or hate him kind of guy, stubborn and determined. Mark was happily married to the love of his life, Dee Hemsley. Mark loved his family dearly. He enjoyed his time teaching English at South Carleton High School and sharing his passion for great books, classic poetry and wild movies such as Blazing Saddles and Monty Python. Most days Mark could be found working on his Cadillacs or AMCs while listening to Van Morrison in his garage. Donations in memory of Mark May be made to the Royal Ottawa Foundation.
